“To be part of TESLA network is for me a great stimulus and useful experience. To be able to work with people from all over the world can give me an educational, professional and personal background that I hardly could find in other environments.”
El Mehdi Messaoudi, Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV)
El Mehdi Messaoudi was born in Morocco, but at the age of three he moved to Italy.
He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering at the University Politecnico di Milano, Italy, where he continued his studies with the Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering.
During 2017/2018, he made a 10 months stay through a European exchange program, Erasmus+, in the communications department of the Universitat Politecnica de Valencia (UPV), where he had the opportunity to know better the research lines of the Microwave Applications Group (GAM) of this department.
The main research that the PhD student will carry out in this group will be to develop new miniaturized solutions for filters based on planar and hybrid technologies, using single-layer and multi-layer technologies, study the reconfiguration capabilities of the proposed solutions, explore novel technologies of tuning elements and extend the previous technologies to more advanced sub-systems.
