On Saturday 5th May there was a ceremony for the TESLA logo contest winners. The ceremony was organized at the High School ITTS A. Volta. Prof. Cristiano Tomassoni, TESLA member, and Prof. Giuseppe Saccomandi, Director of the Department of Engineering, both attended. Both Prof. Saccomandi and Prof Tomassoni presented the winner with a well deserved award certificate and the students proudly accepted their certificates of participation.
The School Principal had hoped to attend the ceremony but was unable to make it and therefore, the Vice Principal attended in her place. The Vice Principal was enthusiastic about the competition and announced that the school is always keen to participate in Outreach initiatives. The school staff and students are open to opportunities for further collaboration with both TESLA and with UNIPG.
During the ceremony Prof. Tomassoni also spoke about TESLA and the Marie Curie Actions Outreach initiative. A special thanks to all the wonderful students at High School ITTS A. Volta. for their kind participation in this TESLA outreach activity!
